Description

This is a modification of the original Silent Night V.6 foobar2000 skin by Arnie77.

The skin could be useful if you prefer a well-structured file-system tree over the media library to access and categorize your music.

Silent Night V6.3 works best with foobar2000 v1.3.

Differences from the original version

• Modified Explorer Tree is used instead of the media library filter.
• Additional component for bookmarking.
• Masstagger.
• Removed obsolete components:
  • iPod manager
  • Podcatcher
  • Last.fm radio
  • Chronflow

Directory tree orientation

The directory tree may be configured for display in a vertical or horizontal orientation. See the video manual for the demonstration how to access skin settings.

  

Installation

• Install foobar2000 using the portable mode with the all options checked (full installation).
• Merge the skin and foobar2000 folder contents before the first foobar launch.
• Select Columns UI after the first launch.

Known issues

• Horizontally oriented file explorer panel behaves a little bit buggy when the left sidebar is shown/hidden (it's may be necessary to resize window to get rid of glitches).
• To make Shpeck visualisations work, you need to manually specify the Winamp folder path in the Shpeck settings. The Winamp folder is included into the skin.
